SENATOR HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON NOT “OUT OF THE WOODS” FOR UNETHICAL AND ILLEGAL MISCONDUCT
Judicial Watch Clients Have Eight Lawsuits Against Her for Violation of Privacy Rights And Other Infractions
A COURT HAS ALREADY EFFECTIVELY RULED IN FILEGATE CASE THAT HER CONDUCT TOWARD KATHLEEN WILLEY SCHWICKER WAS CRIMINAL
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest law firm that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, has been amused in the last several weeks over press reports that Hillary Rodham Clinton has escaped scrutiny for her illegal and criminal behavior during the last eight years of her husband’s administration. The new Senator from New York, who just recently purchased yet another multi-million dollar house with money improperly obtained this time from an unethical book deal, and who by all accounts is planning to run for the Presidency in 2004 (Bill Clinton could be named Vice President if she is successful), is not “out of the woods,” however.
Despite a moribund and cowardly series of independent counsels who, while admitting that Mrs. Clinton broke the law on a number of occasions, refused to bring indictments because “D.C. juries would not convict,” Judicial Watch is currently pursuing EIGHT lawsuits against her for large civil damages. Some of these cases could turn criminal, due to obstruction of justice over document requests and other matters.
In the ongoing Filegate case, which is nearing a decision on obstruction of justice concerning hidden e-mail, the Court previously found that President Clinton, in releasing information from government files to smear and destroy Kathleen Willey Schwicker, committed a criminal violation of the Privacy Act. An emergency appeal by the Clinton-Gore Justice Department to overrule this finding failed. Sworn interrogatory answers of the Clinton-Gore White House show that Hillary Rodham Clinton assisted, if not masterminded, this crime. Judicial Watch has moved the Court to depose Mrs. Clinton on this and other matters.
“Mrs. Clinton will pay for her crimes against Judicial Watch clients and the American people, no matter how long it takes. Our justice system does not consist only of independent counsels who have not had the guts to take on the Clinton smear machine by doing their jobs,” stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.
