85% OF AMERICANS WANT CONGRESS TO CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE CLINTON PARDONS AND DISAGREE WITH BUSH’S DESIRE TO “MOVE ON”
(Washington, D.C.) According to the latest Judicial Watch Poll – conducted March 6-13 – An overwhelming number of Americans want Congress to continue to investigate the pardons Bill Clinton granted in the waning hours of his Administration.
As federal prosecutors in New York pour over the details of the pardons, almost 85% of those polled, disagree with President Bush’s desire to “move on”. Only 12.8% would like the Congressional hearings to end, while only a little less than 3 percent weren’t sure what Congress should do.
The results below are based on the results of an Internet poll posted on Judicial Watch’s website: www.judicialwatch.org. . 3,129 Americans took part in the poll that was conducted March 6-13th. Judicial Watch is a legal organization devoted to fighting government corruption.
