HILLARY CLINTON ATTACK ON PRESIDENT BUSH MADE POSSIBLE BY REFUSAL OF HIS ADMINISTRATION TO PURSUE CLINTON-GORE CRIMES
Unilateral Disarmament Emboldens New York Senator and Former First Lady to Launch Salvo
(Washington, DC) As Judicial Watch has predicted, the politically-inspired decision by President George W. Bush and his Administration to not pursue and obtain justice for Clinton-Gore crimes has been the equivalent of unilateral disarmament, embolding Hillary Clinton – obviously with the political advice of her husband Bill Clinton and the Democratic Party – to viciously attack George W. Bush’s performance in office. While Judicial Watch does not take political positions, Mrs. Clinton’s boldness obviously results from the perception that the Republican Party is a “toothless tiger” that can be beaten back by the Clinton-Democrat smear machine.
“Judicial Watch is interested in justice for justice’s sake, and not to advance or protect President Bush’s programs. However, it is clear that the Clintons and the Democratic Party have lost any respect or fear of the Republicans, and in particular President Bush, since they now perceive that he is scared to pursue Clinton-Gore crimes with the apparent fear that this will open himself and his Administration up to scrutiny for their own deeds. The Clintons and the Democrats clearly know that they can say and do anything they want with a new Administration that is adverse to enforcing the rule of law,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
“Unless the Bush Administration begins to show its resolve and hold the Clintons, Al Gore and the Democrats responsible for their crimes, it will become like a Rodney Dangerfield joke – ‘It ain’t got no respect,’” added Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.
