JUDICIAL WATCH FORCED TO SUE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT OVER STONEWALLING IN RELEASING PARDONGATE DOCUMENTS
(Washington, DC) Late yesterday, Judicial Watch was forced to file yet another lawsuit against the Justice Department for its refusal to release all documents concerning Bill and Hillary Clinton Pardongate caper. One would have thought that the Justice Department, now being effectively run by President George W. Bush, would be accommodating to the American people in releasing full information. However, for whatever reason, the Bush Administration seems to be protecting the Clintons in Pardongate, and Judicial Watch therefore could not stand idly by and allow the cover-up to continue.
“Judicial Watch has great respect for Attorney General John Ashcroft, but he should allow the release of these public documents immediately,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
