A public high school in Ohio is forcing students to assume a Latino identity then teaching them how to enter the United States illegally and how to forge documents in order to live in the town as an illegal alien.
The Spanish class at the taxpayer-funded school (Olentangy Liberty High) in the upscale Columbus suburb of Powell features a role-playing project in which students must assume a Latino identity, create an imaginary life in a foreign country and develop a plan to immigrate to the U.S.
The students are initially instructed to attempt entering the country legally by filling out paperwork from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. But the teacher who runs the class, Erica Vieyra, stamps the word “denied” on every imaginary application and instructs students to devise a plan to cross the border illegally.
The teacher encourages the students to somehow find a way across the border and actually forge documents so they can live in Columbus. Once in the country illegally, they must figure out how to survive, get food and a place to live. The students are forced to go to real businesses in the area and ask for Spanish-language job applications. They also visit banks and ask for account documents in Spanish.
The idea, according to school officials, is to help students understand the frustration and adversity that illegal immigrants face in the big, bad U.S.A. It also strives to stir empathy for what the teacher calls one of the most important political and humanitarian issues facing the U.S. government today.
In its fifth year, the class certainly portrays illegal immigrants as desperate victims who simply want a better life in America. It definitely excludes the negative side of a porous border, such as atrocious crimes recently committed by illegal immigrants. They include schoolyard murders in New Jersey, a cop killing in Arizona and drunk drivers in several states who have killed innocent Americans.

This is a outrage why don't judicial watch file a law suit under Title 8 Section 1324 of the United States code which states aiding,abetting,encouraging,transporting and hiring illegals is a felony.

are that illegal aliens do come across our borders
illegally and get jobs with stolen Social Security
numbers.They then sent 20 billion dollars a year back to
Mexico, at the same time holding out their hand for public
assistance.When an illegal alien female has a child here in
the United States the baby is an American Citizen and
entitle to the same benefits as other Americans,with the
stolen Social Security card illegal aliens can access those
same benefits.Under Federal law illegal aliens are entitle
to basis medical care,also by Federal law their children are
entitle to an education in our public schools It costs the
American tax payer around 45 billion dollars a year to pay
for those benefits, Free medical care,WIC, Rent
assistance,Food stamps, and Translators and free lunches for
their children in our public schools. American cities along
our Southern border provide free emergency medical care for
Mexican citizens, and what do the pregnant Mexican women do
in return ? They come across the border to have their babies
( American Citizens). How about Elvira Arellano and her
child,she was deported came back,had the child and return to
work with a stolen Social Security number,she also had been
in our country for 10 years,but had to have a translator at
her news conference! Earlier last year illegal aliens
demonstrated in the streets of our cities demanding amnesty
by flying the American flag upside down below the Mexican
flag and carrying signs saying "this land is ours Gringo"
Those same Mexicans didn't stay in their own country and
fight the injustice they face there.

do you tell the millions of immigrants waiting in other
countries around the world that want to come here the legal
way? You don't take your first step to become an American
citizen by committing an illegal act! Just because we share
a common border that illegal aliens can wade across to get
here,does not give them the automatic right to American
Citizenship It's worth more than that!
The inscription at the base of the Statute of Liberty concludes, "I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" It says nothing about welcoming people who bypass our entry doors by climbing walls, swimming rivers and sneaking under border fences.
Glad I don't live in Ohio
I'm glad I don't live in Ohio. If I found out any teachers in my area were doing something similar, I'd file complaints about them to the administration. And what of the parents of these children this woman is teaching? What do they think of her sympathizing with criminals and teaching young children that breaking the law is acceptable? Such a disgrace!
IF EVERYBODY ONLY KNEW
I live and work as an immigration officer in one of these border towns, Douglas, Az to be exact. It is unbelievable how many students come across the border every day to come to our public schools at the cost of us taxpayers. These students parents live in Mexico and contibute absolutely nothing tho the U.S. tax sytem that pays for the cost of these students.
