Denver Obscenity
Tax payers in Colorado may be surprised to hear that their money is helping fund obscene programs on Denver Community Television. A program called The 241 Jack Show features a comedy routine full of profanities and references to hardcore recreational drugs. The second part of the show features erotic dancers with their private parts exposed.
So far the station, DCTV, has received $265,000 from the city this year. The station’s manager, a woman named Agnes Martin, says the lineup of shows may be offensive to some viewers but is ?protected by the First Amendment.?
