Hookergate Senator Goes Ballistic At Airport

A Louisiana senator famous for his involvement in a Washington D.C. prostitution scandal violated airport security moments after going ballistic on an airline employee because he didn’t receive special treatment.

A Capitol Hill newspaper reports that Republican David Vitter—of D.C. Madam fame—became irate recently at Washington’s Dulles Airport after missing his flight to New Orleans. The lawmaker proceeded to blast the airline employee who refused to let him board the plane.

An eyewitness said the senator yelled at the airline worker, employing a “do-you-know-who-I-am” attitude popular among many politicians and celebrities. After a heated back and forth, the airline employee threatened to call security and the defiant Vitter stormed through the security gate, setting off an alarm.

Vitter claims that he “accidentally” went through the wrong door at the gate, stressing that he was in a rush to make his flight after being delayed on the Senate floor ensuring a vote on his anti-pay raise amendment.

Although Vitter’s airport temper tantrum is today’s headlines, he is best known for repeatedly using the services of an “upscale” Washington D.C. prostitution ring run by a self-proclaimed D.C. Madam who committed suicide after being convicted for operating it. The business catered to a number of high-end clients, including influential politicians.

Among them was Vitter, a married father of four who apologized for a “very serious sin” after his name repeatedly showed up on the D.C. Madam’s phone records during a federal investigation. In fact, the phone logs revealed that Vitter spoke to the hooker service at least twice while roll call votes were under way when he was a House member.
