BIG CHINAGATE WEEK IN STORE FOR CLINTON ADMINISTRATION AND COUNTRY
Regrettably "Kicked Off" By "Inexplicable" Bombing of Chinese Embassy
JOHNNY CHUNG SET TO BE DEPOSED BY JUDICIAL WATCH ON MAY 13
(May 10, 1999. Washington, D.C.) -- Chinagate, the war in Kosovo, the dishonesty, and incompetence of the Clinton Administration in foreign affairs, have finally merged into one "giant crisis." On top of new reports that American national security has been compromised by Chinese intelligence, and that President Clinton lied about his knowledge of this to the American people, is the "error" of the bombing the Chinese Embassy, and the crisis this has caused. "Not only is this Administration corrupt, it is widely incompetent beyond our wildest fears," stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman and President Tom Fitton.
For Chinagate watchers, this will be a sad and hectic week, beginning with the testimony of Johnny Chung, who will testify to Judicial Watch and Congress to the never ending litany of more damaging information about this Administration's complicity in Chinese campaign finance bribery and espionage. Chinagate is also now having an impact on Kosovo, as the revelations about illegal Chinese activities in the United States could, when seen through the eyes of the Chinese, help explain the bombing of their Embassy. If the Chinese view the bombing as retaliation by the CIA (who made the alleged "error") for their having been caught spying on the United States, this could not only exacerbate the Kosovo crisis, but have other even more serious ramifications as well. What is clear is that Bill Clinton has no moral or other authority to lead this country. The President should immediately resign, along with Sandy Berger and Madeleine Albright. The Democratic Party should not allow these untrustworthy and incompetent individuals to lead it and the entire country into an abyss.
