STEWARDESS ANNE MARIE SMITH FILES CRIMINAL COMPLAINT AGAINST CALIFORNIA CONGRESSMAN GARY CONDIT SMITH REPRESENTED BY JUDICIAL WATCH AND ATTORNEY JAMES ROBINSON (Modesto, California) Judicial Watch, the public interest law firm that investigates and prosecutes government abuse and corruption and Attorney James Robinson, will file a criminal complaint on behalf of Anne Marie Smith against Congressman Gary Condit (D-CA) in Modesto court today. The basis for the complaint is Mr. Condits obstruction of justice in the investigation into the disappearance of Washington intern Chandra Levy. In addition to Congressman Condit repeatedly lying to investigators regarding his relationship with Ms. Levy, Mr. Condit asked others to lie for him as well. Mr. Condit tried to coerce Anne Marie Smith into signing an affidavit denying that they had a nearly year-long sexual relationship. This type of abhorrent behavior should be condemned and Mr. Condit should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.
