FBI Director Wray & the Obamagate Cover-Up
“Director Wray has been less transparent than Comey as far as I can tell,” Fitton stated in last week’s Weekly Update.
The FBI Director’s decision to withhold his employees’ text messages from FOIA requests has prevented important Obamagate-related records from being released. The agency’s organizational secrecy, in Fitton’s words, continues to provide a cover-up for the agents involved in Obamagate, a scandal he defines as “the greatest political scandal in American history.” In fact, with Obamgate remaining largely unresolved, the FBI Director’s actions have, in Fitton’s estimation – provided protection for the “coup cabal.”
“We need to battle every inch and in every way to get access to information from Wray’s FBI,” Fitton argued. Judicial Watch is seeking to obtain text messages exchanged between FBI employees as a part of its efforts to release information on the FBI’s role in orchestrating Obamagate. “Remember we uncovered how the FBI had phones wiped? We’ve been uncovering the Page-Strzok emails.” When it comes to the text messages, “we’ve been fighting this battle for years,” Fitton stated.
After discovering that the FBI had wiped the phones of the Mueller team, Judicial Watch has spearheaded the fight to obtain these text message records. The DOJ recently reassigned the case to Judge Sullivan, the judge who presiding over the Flynn case. “The FBI doesn’t want to turn over records as it’s supposed to under the law, and the DOJ will let them get away with it.”
“This is the same gang that you think is going to investigate Biden? This is why I’m skeptical,” Fitton concluded. Support Judicial Watch today to make sure the American people get the whole truth about Obamagate, not just what Director Wray wants to release.
