Robert Mueller is not supervised day-to-day by the appropriate officials at the Justice Department. Therefore, he does not have the authority under our Constitution to do the work that he is supposedly wanting to do. At this point, the issue is not about Mueller – it’s about the Office of Special Counsel. They should go back to square one, however politically uncomfortable it is, to make sure that office is lawful & lawfully run.
